Tuesday Q: Favorite Apps

What apps do you use?  Do you use your phone to distract your kids while shopping or keep them happy in a restaurant?  Do you have a favorite parenting app to track feedings?

We want to know:  Which apps are your favorites for parenting?

  2. My son (29m) is an iPhone addict and has been really good with my phone since he was about 18 months old. His twin sister isn't as into it and still makes mistakes like deleting or moving apps. It's interesting how different they are.

He likes Pandora and Netflix. I have some Sesame Street and Dora episodes in the iPod app. And occasionally he goes old-school and plays with the old Wheels on the Bus and Itsy Bitsy Spider apps (both by the same company) he liked a year ago. He's also into taking pictures and looking at old pictures and videos.

Right now I'm looking for a good SAHM productivity app to keep track of appointments, tasks related to various projects, etc. I'm surprised I'm not finding something easily by searching. Certainly I'm not the only mom with a to-do list eight miles long??

  3. Looking forward to more suggestions! I just got an iphone and need to fill it up.

My favorite so far is the scan app. You can scan any item and it will tell you if there is somewhere that you can get it cheaper. I will use this one often with Christmas shopping this year!

  4. To help my kids easily solve some troubles concerning their home assignments, I use homework help online services.
